Amelia Island

According to the Wikipedia: Amelia Island is an island in Nassau County, Florida. One of the southernmost of the Sea Islands, a chain of barrier islands stretching along the east coast of the United States from South Carolina to Florida, it is 13 miles long and approximately 4 miles wide at its widest point. The communities of Fernandina Beach and Amelia City are both located on the island.

 

 On August 14TH my Mother had celebrated her 75TH Birthday.  It was her choice in how she wanted to spend the day. She immediate remembered the hospitality and beautiful vistas of the Atlantic Ocean. She recalled many vacations she had spent with my Father. Unfortunately he recently passed away. But her memories were strong and delightful to listen too. She knew of so many places to dine and wanted to enjoy a walk along the pier at
